Welcome to my Eleanor Rigby chord chart. This is a SUPER SIMPLE guitar song because it only uses two chords. Or, at least the version I’ve provided here only uses two chords – Em and C. How exciting!
There aren’t too many song out there like this. So they are gems to come by for beginner guitar students.
ELEANOR RIGBY GUITAR CHORDS:
I like playing the Em with my first and second fingers because it creates a great pivot point on the second finger to transition to the C chord. But if you play it with fingers 2 and 3, that’s works too. The rhythm is pretty simple too. You can use either quarter notes or eighth note strumming like the pattern I have below.
