FAQ

Below is a list of Frequently Asked Questions (and Answers!) Lauren and her team have put together. Please see if the answer to your question might be answered below before sending in a question form.

  • Lauren, can you write a chord chart or do a video lesson in [“Song Name”] for me?

I get A LOT of requests for song lessons and tutorials. I obviously cannot get to all of them, but you are more than welcome to use the form below to submit a song request to me and my team.

  • I can’t login to my course or student account, or I have forgotten my password

Please email support@laurenbateman.com and one of my team members will assist you as soon as possible. Please remember we are still a “Mom & Pop”-type operation. We try to answer inquiries as soon as possible Monday-Friday 8am-5pm EST.

  • What’s the best beginner guitar? What strings or picks do you use?

I usually don’t make recommendations for guitars because we are all so different and unique. What I find comfortable, you may not. But below, please find some recommendations for various products that I do use and endorse.

  • Lauren can you teach me one-on-one via Private Lessons?

I personally only offer lessons through my various online courses BUT my staff at LB Music School are more than happy to provide online instruction to those who are interested. Learn more about private online lessons with LB Music School at www.lbmusicschool.com/online-music-lessons

  • Where can I download PDF copies of your songs and chord charts?

Unfortunately, publishing and distributing copies of someone else’s work is illegal. I know many guitar and music teachers out their distribute PDFs of chord charts but it’s not something we do here. I am working on publishing some of my own music books with my chord charts, but in the meantime, these are some great books you may want to check out. I have tutorials for many of the songs in the Hal Leonard Campfire Song Book.
