So this guitar chord chart of Valerie uses a Capo on the 1st fret to simplify the song for beginner players. The song is in the Key of Eb which can have some tricky barre chords. So to get rid of most of them, can can use a Capo to make the song much easier to play.

When I play this song, I improvise the strumming a lot, but I have a simplified pattern below.
