This song is great for beginner. We are only working with open chords which helps. I should note that the guitar will need to be tune down a half step to sound like the recording. (Eb – Ab – Db -Gb – Bb – Eb)

There are couple strumming options and I think it’s important to understand that most chords are splitting a measure with a down strum on the 1 beat and then a down strum on the 4 beat as shown below.

This pattern then gives way to a Down Up Down Up pattern with a little bit of a swing feel to it.
