You Are My Sunshine Chord Chart by Gene Autry

Welcome to my You Are My Sunshine chord chart. Very sweet and simple song to lean on the guitar. There is an F chord, but if you aren’t keen on barre chords yet, don’t worry! You can always use the simple Fmaj7 chord to get you through it for now which is a nice easy transition from the C chord.

Simple Strumming:
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 +
D D D D

Other Strumming:

1 + 2 + 3 + 4 +
D UD UD U D U

The ups are accented in this song due. I great way to play this would be to mute the down strums and accent the up strums. Kind of like a reggae strum. You can always add and remove down strums where needed.
